Dr. Hayley Collinge

Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Hayley Collinge graduated from Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine located in New Westminster, BC. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology at Thompson Rivers University. For over 6 years, Dr. Hayley lived and worked in  Scottsdale, Arizona. She is now licensed to practice Naturopathic Medicine in British Columbia as  well. Though she’s been gone from the city 12 years, she is happy and grateful to be back serving BC  residents.
Dr. Hayley’s goal is to empower people, and teach them the steps to take to achieve optimal health.  Since knowledge is power, this puts you back in the driver’s seat, allowing you to take control of your health. Dr. Hayley also wants to help people look and feel their best utilizing the best of science and nature.

Dr. Hayley’s main area of focus is on comprehensive hormone testing and balancing. Since graduating, Dr. Hayley has done a significant amount of extra training in this area to gain expertise, and has now been helping patients balance their hormones for 6 years with Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). BHRT includes hormones that are structurally identical to those produced by our body’s. These hormones, derived from plants, are used to help treat deficiencies of your bodies own natural hormones, and correct any imbalances. To correct hormone imbalances, Dr. Hayley also tests you thyroid and adrenal hormone levels, inflammatory markers, blood sugar and insulin levels.  Balancing all of these factors is necessary for optimal symptom relief.

Another primary area of focus is on gut health. Dr Hayley helps those with food sensitivities and intolerance’s find a diet plan that works for them. Food sensitivity testing helps to determine which foods are causing you problems, so these foods can be removed from your diet, while a protocol is implemented to help heal your gut. Intestinal hyper-permeability also known as “leaky gut” is a huge issue today in those with multiple food sensitivities, and autoimmune diseases. By healing the gut, the symptoms can be diminished, and in certain cases the foods may be able to be reintroduced. Dr. Hayley has a special interest in this area, because she has Celiac disease, and must be on a strict gluten free diet. She understands the challenges people face when they have to be on a restrictive diet for health reasons, and is well-equipped to help guide you through the process of modifying your diet. Dr. Hayley also tests for and treats IBS, Celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative colitis, and other autoimmune  diseases, and does Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis (CDSA) tests as well.

Other areas of focus include helping those with brain fog, memory problems, concentration issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other cognitive issues find relief with the use of Nootropics.  Nootropics are also known as smart drugs or supplements that help improve the function of the brain. Dr. Hayley also helps you to strengthen your immune function with diet, vitamins, minerals and herbs  so you can have less sick days. She offers Intravenous Meyer’s cocktails, high dose vitamin C, and  more. Other services include Acupuncture and Chinese medicine formulas for any health issue, cosmetic acupuncture for aesthetic purposes, cupping therapy for pain and other conditions, and vitamin/fat burner shots.
Dr. Hayley feels honoured to be in a position where she gets to help so many people achieve better  health, and thanks you for choosing her as your provider. She looks forward to helping you on your journey towards better health as part of the team at Bliss Pilates.
